Almost an Accidental Architect

Yes I am the Daniel Gonzales from People Magazine. I am an ex-ex-gay meaning I tried to cure myself of my homosexuality and then realized I couldn't. This is my old personal blog I don't update anymore because I now spend my time in front of a computer writing for ExGayWatch.com. If you want to write me, my email addy is daniel@exgaywatch.com.

Monday, February 5 :::

Bought a new beanie (touque for you Canadians) for my trip.

My aunt's morbidly obese cat.

One of the first things we did was go to Lake Michigan so I could see all the ice blown up on shore by the wind.

Not that I care about football but the Chicago Bears were in the superbowl and several buildings used their office lights to spell out support.

I went to the Shedd Aquarium on superbowl Sunday since I knew it'd be empty. Why the penguin exhibit was indoors was beyond me.

The Kimodo Dragon exhibit.

On the walk back to Union Station the bottle of water on the outside of my backpack froze.

On my way home. That's a very well know piece of public art at O'hare airport for y'all who don't know.

My friend Mark who works for United hooked me up with a friend-of-employee-standby-fare which got me upgraded to first class. My flight back was on a 777 that had just come from Germany so it was equipped with lay-flat seats that were so large it was obscene.

Bio:::

I’m Daniel Gonzales, and I recently graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B. Architecture. I’m currently working for one of the largest commercial architecture firms in downtown Long Beach as a designer in their mixed-use urban redevelopment and retail studio. While in school, I worked for the Mustang Daily photo department for three years and also spent time studying abroad in India and Thailand. Yes, I realize none of that had a damn thing to do with architecture. I grew up in Ventura, and moved here to Long Beach after graduation. I'm a workin boy now.

I am not yet a licensed architect.
